ZOOM! TEETH WHITENING

Illuminate your smile and give your features instantly rejuvenated look.

Whitened teeth lighten up the face and make the lips a focal point giving your features instantly rejuvenated look.  Within just about an hour the natural color of your teeth can be
lightened up to 8 shades, with the starting condition of your enamel determining how much whitening can be achieved.

Professional whitening treatments performed by our dentist use a laser energy to accelerate the process of bleaching as well as making it penetrate deeper. The effects of bleaching can last for several months, but may vary depending on your maintenance and lifestyle. Consultation will determine your suitability, as well as possible recommendations for repeat sessions, before the whitening is performed.

Our dentist can determine if Zoom teeth whitening is right for you after performing a thorough oral examination that includes a shade assessment. We will examine your teeth and gums and polish away any superficial stains. A sparkle and polish treatment is carried out using our Airflow technique .

THE TREATMENT
Whitening treatment starts with inserting of a plastic mouthpiece to protect the lips and tongue. A barrier solution is placed on the gums to protect them, followed by application of a treatment solution to the entire surface of the teeth. Zoom hydrogen peroxide whitening gel works together with the Zoom light to penetrate the teeth and break up the stains and discoloration. The gel remains in place for 15 minutes while the light is activated. During this time, you can relax with us listening to music. The gel is applied for three 15-minute sessions of light activation, for a total treatment time of 45 minutes. Immediately afterwards,  a sensitivity-reducing fluoride paste-gel is applied to the teeth.

AFTERCARE
You should not eat or drink dark, staining substances for 24 hours after the session.  These include coffee, tea, red wine and coke; smoking should also be avoided.
